In an attempt to distract myself from the fact my kids are going back to school tomorrow, I present to you...the Illumination event at Flag City Balloon Fest

 

This was my first year at the festival.  It was really beautiful. 

It was amazing to see how many people it took to handle one balloon.

 

 

I have to admit, I am not a huge fan of the Midwest.  I am trying to take a new approach to living here though.  I am on a mission to find new and fun things that are nearby.  This was a perfect start to a new perspective. 

And for now, even though school will be back in session, I am going to continue to search for fun and let you know where I find it.
