Disturbed by recent news that an old friend is having medical issues...

until I hear the good news that they are out of surgery.

It won't be long now,

the graduating class of 2012

will be accepting their diplomas.

We are in the home stretch now!

My sister-in-law, Chloe, is graduating this year, as you might already know from a previous post.

Her mom mentioned last week that she has had kids in school for 33 years

and this is it.

Crazy.

Seriously, where does the time go?

Even though this saddens me a bit, I am excited to see what life has in store for Chloe.

I feel like the time following graduation is a very exciting and adventurous time.

So, hang in there Seniors!  Just a few more weeks to go!

It will be here before we know it!

This week our very courageous cousin, Carli, drove across the country from New York City to Los Angeles, stopping here to pick up Miles, our last baby we had from our litter last summer.  He is going to live with her sister, Kristi, in L.A.

Last night my husband talked to Kristi on the phone to answer a couple questions she had about taking care of Miles.  He told her he really thought she got the best of the litter.  That statement has a good possibility of being true.

He is pretty calm and gentle.

He's loyal.

He looks just like his mom.

He even puts his ears back when I'm trying to take pictures of him...like his mom.

I used to think the ears being back meant they didn't want their picture taken, but after taking these, I know that it was his attempt to hold as still as possible for an attempt at a shot and then move in for some lovin'.

Reports from the cousins say he did pretty great on the trip.

Carli fell in love with him.

Carli & Kristi might get joint custody of him...we will see.

He might be an East Coast and West Coast dog.

Great job, Carli!  I am not sure how you did it!

Good luck, Kristi!  I'm sure Miles will love you and L.A.!

There are some people in my life that I know

by chance, through other friends and family.

I'm so lucky

to have met both of these girls, these sisters, that way.

Margey & Noelle are sisters.

They are both so sweet.  I have more than enjoyed their company for years.

Matt is another friend I have...through another friend.  He is Noelle's other half and the proud owner of swimmers that helped create

TWINS!

Matt and Noelle are greatly missed.  They moved across country a year ago,

leaving the rest of us here...wishing we moved where they did...checking out their awesome pictures on Facebook when we are freezing here in the winter...and missing their fun.

Margey is carrying sweet baby #3.

And I about exploded when I heard their choice for the baby boy's name,

Vinny.

LOVE!

Of course because my #3 is Vinny as well.

It is a great name.

The bond between these girls is wonderful.  I'm sure it makes the distance apart hard.

I pray

for healthy babies,

for healthy moms,

and

that having twins

isn't as crazy

as it sounds.

Love you, beautiful girls!  I hope to see you again sometime soon!
