Huddled Masses
Day 10 of 365 photos/365 days
today's subject:
dramatic black and white.
I had a couple photos in mind for today's subject.
When I looked at them, I though this would be a good one
because
Lady Liberty is pretty dramatic.
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus, "The New Colossus" (1883)
However, when looking through my photos from New York City, I found a few more that I found "dramatic" and I am going to break the "rules" and share these as well.
This breaks my heart every time I stumble upon it.
