I miss you already

We had to put our oldest dog, Mattie to sleep on Monday.

I hate it.

She was an English Mastiff and eight years old.  Which is pretty old for a dog of her size. {I tell myself this to make me sleep better at night}

So, yesterday afternoon she had one last romp in the yard.  It was a beautiful day and she seemed glad to be outside.

{one of the things I hate most of all - my kids in pain}

and I do believe that is a smile

Good bye, sweet Meat.  Words can't describe how much you will be missed.

Only time will make it better.

    Sorry for your loss. My 2 boys have grown up with my 2 in house dogs Zeus and Roxy and love them so much. I dont know what I am going to do when something happens to them……I really dont like to think about it. Hope things get better for you!

    Thank you so much, that means a lot. They do become a part of the family and it is so hard to let them go.
    I love the names Zeus and Roxy :)

    Hello,
    Unfortunately, we have two other dogs and would not be able to take another one.
    Best of luck finding a home for your mastiff and thank you for sending me the message.
