My alter ego is a traveler.  I can’t get enough of it.  I love everything about it.  It is the one time that I don’t mind getting up at 3:00 am to catch a flight.  I didn’t have to do it this time, thankgoodness, but I have before.  The more I travel, the more I fall in love with it.  This time, I went to Washington D.C.  It was great.  It was also extra great because I was able to go with my friend and sister-in-law, Amy.  She.is.awesome.  This girl walked in the rain for hours with me because we needed (I needed) to get pictures of the cherry blossoms.  Her poor feet got so wet.  It was cold.  My feet got wet.  We searched for food places that were not open.  It was windy.  It was wonderful.  It seemed to not matter to us if all that was going on – it was funny.  It was an adventure.  I got a few pictures.

But all that rain was the last day we were there.

This was my view from our room.  I love views like this.  Love them.

The first day we….saw the Capitol Building and Library of Congress during our lunch break.  The Library of Congress is beautiful.
