Puppies are 2 weeks old
Our puppies are two weeks old today.
I can't believe it. It seems like they have been here longer than that.
They are all doing great - and even opening their beautiful blue eyes a little.
Mom is doing great too.
Having them is so much better than I ever expected.
We have had visitors come see them. I love to see adults squeal upon seeing them.
Thank you for all of your kind words!
We love them and have found homes for some of them already!
Come back for more pictures later on this week!
gift
This is a gift from my daughter.
It's extra special because she is entering the teen years.
Even though she is still a "tween" - her attitude screams "teen".
It's often frustrating because she has an amazing heart and I know her teen-ish attitude isn't the real her.
It makes me sad that she is getting so old.
When I got in the car and saw this, it made my heart sing as if she were five years old again.
Love your babies - they won't be babies forever.
Today we reflect, we will never forget

Reflecting back on summer
This weekend I've been going through pictures
that I have been neglecting.
I found some of these cuties from July 4th.
Halle...I love watching her do her own thing.
It reminds me of my daughter. It seems like not long ago she was Halle's age doing the same things.
She is always so good for me - allowing me to stop her in her tracks and take her picture.
This is Halle's little sister, Ella.
She dishes out the sass...
and then has the cuteness to back it up.
She reminds me of my youngest. They are very close in age - by months.
Happy Labor Day - and here's looking forward to next summer - already.
Our puppies aren’t the only cute puppies
I went digging through old photos
from earlier this summer.
I found these puppy pictures
and had to post them.
This is Dexter.
I am pretty sure...
that day (July 4th)
it was...maybe Dexter...maybe Lionel...
maybe black baby Jesus.
But I think Dexter was the winner, winner chicken dinner name.
And the parents
are as cool as the dog
:)
Happy Sunday
